Red Wolverton day
The Mescal Movie Set and Mescal Legends Honor Red Wolverton
Meet the legendary cowboy, author, wrangler, and stage driver who has been in 100+ movies!
'Red Cloud' Wolverton, as he is known in the cattle country, has been a working cowboy and horseman
all his life. He turned his love of horses into a motion picture livestock business, working in such films as Tombstone, Posse, The Alamo, Stagecoach, and Into the West.
The set is honoring Red and his wife Margery in a special ceremony at 12:30 PM on Saturday November 12th. Red will be joined by his fellow Mescal Legend pals, who also appeared in classic westerns filmed at the Mescal Movie Set. The event is a “meet and greet” with guests able to talk to, get autographs from, and take pictures with Red and the Mescal Legends.

Red is bringing a surprise! He is hauling the actual stagecoach used in the movie Tombstone! Guests can take their picture with the coach used in the famous classic western!
Red is also having a book signing! Red has published a number of books and stories, including 'Stagecoach 76', 'To The Far Corners,' Cowboy Coogan' and his new release Tales and Trails of a Big Ranch Cowboy.
Join us for a special ceremony recognizing Red & Margery Wolverton at 12:30.
Historical tours will run at 9:00, 10:30 and 1:00.
